It is also important to note that most builders do not negotiate the prices of thier condos AND that they usually pay Realtors a commission for bringing you in to buy. So, in most cases, the service of having a Realtor on your side is FREE!

Tips when looking at New Construction

Hire a real estate agent. Most builders cooperate with agents which means they will give an agent commission when a buyer is brought to them.
Narrow down where you want to live. Remember, you can always change a home but you can't change it's location.
Make a list of your wants and needs.
Try not to get dazzled while going through model homes or condos. Most of the time, they are full of upgrades and have a price tag that is well beyond your budget.
Ask a lot of questions. Your agent is there to represent you while the builder is there to represent the builder.
